This blog post is about a 1990 hindi movie by the name of angeepath. The film is directed by Rajiv Menon and produced by N. P. Singh, Madan Mohla and Mahendra Dhariwal. But there are some problems in their family – their mother Mrs. Vittal died when Durga was very young and their father is always busy with his work, so the three sisters have grown up without a mother. On the other hand, their stepmother Hema (Sushma Seth) is a beautiful but cruel woman who treats her own daughters like maids and always tries to belittle her husband's children. It becomes worse when Vigath's wife dies of illness because of Hema's neglect. When Durga comes back home for vacation, he finds out that his younger sister Kamala has taken up acting as a profession. Durga is shocked to see that his sister has become a low-budget actress because of which he takes Kamala out of the profession. However at the time of his return, it seems that destiny had something else in mind and that was that she becomes an actress and then he loses his sister. He then decides to take up acting and also teaches dance to Kamala. He then meets Potimi Gangaji (Madhuri Dixit), who is a very brave and idealistic girl – she wants to be a dancer but can't because her mother's family does not want her to marry someone who doesn't have money so she asks him for money so that she can become a dancer. But in the meantime, it is revealed that Durga's sister Maya is in love with a boy called Aman (Raj Babbar). She reveals that she wants to marry him but he wants her to leave the house so they sneak out of the house on the night of their marriage which was scheduled to take place on 10 November. Hema sees them and tries to stop them but they don't listen. The next day, after realising that they have left home, she gets worried and goes to her husband and tells him everything.
